Curriculum
Students are categorized as DAY or EVENING. Within each of these categories, students are further categorized by their year. For example: 1L Day, 2L Day, 3L Day; 1L Eve, 2L Eve, 3L Eve, 4L Eve. Your status remains the same for one academic year and will change in the fall semester of the new academic year.
NOTE: 90 credits are required for graduation with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better. Each student must successfully complete all the required courses
Students who complete the J.D. degree will be able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the substantive law generally regarded as necessary to effective and responsible participation in the legal profession.
- Skill in legal analysis and reasoning, legal research, problem solving, and oral communication.
- The ability to write in a legal context, including transactional and advocacy documents.
- Knowledge of the values, rules, and responsibilities of the legal profession and its members.
