Important Dates
June 1st - Early laptop drop-off
The first day Shepard Broad Law Center's Computer Service Department will take option 2 laptops.
June 5th - Laptop selection form must be completed
Once you decide which option you are choosing, log onto the Decision Manager and indicate your choice.
July 1st - Laptop deadline for option 2 students
Students must send or bring their laptops to the Shepard Broad Law Center by this date in order to guarantee that it will be configured by the August 14th date. We cannot guarantee that any laptop received after that date will be configured and ready by August 14h.
July 15 – Orientation Assignments
Assignments for Orientation and Foundations for Law School week will be posted.
August 14th - Laptop Configuration
When you open your computer, you will need to join the network, add your email account to the network, add network printers, as well as accomplishing other configuration tasks.
Option 1 students are placed in a configuration section that matches the class section assigned by Student Affairs. Attendance is mandatory. (view schedule)
Option 2 students will need to plan to stop by the Law Center atrium on Friday, August 14th between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. to pick up their network passwords.
August 16th - 21st - Mandatory Law School Orientation Program
All full-time day and part-time evening entering students are required to attend this innovative and exciting program.
