How Do I Place an Inter-Library Loan?

Inter-Library Loan involves the borrowing and lending of materials not available within NSU’s library system. Inter-Library Loans can be placed only by NSU faculty, staff, & students if the Library doesn’t already own the desired library materials. First, check NOVACAT to determine if NSU owns the library materials. Second, gather as much information about the desired materials as possible, including title, author, publication date, pages, ISBN or ISSN, volume numbers, and other relevant information.  Third, place an ILL Request with our online forms for Books or Journals. Many conditions apply to Inter-Library Loans. Not all library materials can be obtained through Inter-Library Loan. For more information call (954) 262-6223.
