Arthur Green is an attorney, retired from 27 years of private practice, and currently a program professor at Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School of Education. At Fischler, Professor Green instructs at both the master’s and doctoral levels. His areas of specialized instruction include school law, including first amendment and the schools, special education law, disability and the law, human services and the law, and child protection and abuse.
Mr. Green is the author of Florida’s current Cleft Palate mandate which guarantees health insurance coverage for children born with certain craniofacial anomalies. He is also the co- founder and, for more than a decade, directed special needs camps for children with varying disabilities.
Mr. Green is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and University of Cincinnati’s School of Law. He has lectured on school law related issues throughout the county and is an active member of the Education Law Association.
Professor Green is the father of two adult children and the proud grandfather of three. He currently lives in Evanston, IL. with his wife a former dean of the Fischler School of Education at NSU.
