Byron G. Petersen, a Rhodes Scholar Nominee, graduated from the University of Florida School of Law in 1976 where he received the award for the Outstanding Law School Graduate. After graduation he joined the law firm of Greenberg Traurig (becoming a partner in 1981) and served as the head of the Broward County Litigation Department. He left Greenberg Traurig in 1993 after 17 years and currently practices through Byron G. Petersen P.A. with offices on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale.
Mr. Petersen has taught Construction Law and Litigation at the Nova Southeastern Law Center since 1992.
