Goodwin Scholarship
NSU Institutional Scholarship
Award Amount: $20,000
Deadline: No application is necessary for this scholarship. When students apply to the NSU Law Center and meet the requirements they will be automatically considered for this fund. Those selected will be notified. The scholarship is for three continuous years, disbursed in the Fall and Winter semesters.
Requirements: Students must be enrolled at NSU Law full-time and maintain a cumulative grade point average at the end of each academic year of 2.6 or better.
Dean's Scholarship

Faculty Scholarship

Merit Scholarship
NSU Institutional Scholarship
Amount: Varies
Any full-time Law Student (after completion of their 1st year of law school) who has not been awarded a scholarship upon entry will be considered based on academic performance here at the Law Center. No application needed.
CABA Scholarship
NSU Institutional Scholarship
Award Amount: Varies
Requirements:
- Distinguish himself/herself in research, writing, community services, and/or other activities of importance to the Cuban-American community
- Currently enrolled student must be in good academic standing at the Law Center and be attending the Law Center the following fall
Scholarship Specifics:
- Students must complete a competitive essay of no more than 1000 words
- Essay must focus on and describe in detail the activities and achievements that qualify him/her for the award
- Student must submit an updated resume
- Deadline for receipt of essay by Law Center varies (Students will receive an announcement)
- Law Center will receive applications, review them, and select up to 5-10 applications for review by the CABA Scholarship Committee
- The CABA Scholarship Committee will recommend the application they have selected
- The final decision is to be made by the Law Center Scholarship Committee
- Scholarship recipient will be invited and must attend a CABA fall reception held by the Cuban American Bar Association where they will be introduced
